Well, Greenpoint stadium is truly under way. I saw it with my own eyes today, being torn down piece by piece, to be replaced with a spanking new one. It is quite sad really although the stadium was quite ugly, I have some very fond memories of the place. They used to hold the high school inter-sports days there, and was the venue for most visiting pop-bands, which were few and far between during the apartheid years.
