While We’re At it, What’s Happening with 2010?

Your Correspondent, renowned 2010 junkie, has suffered through World Cup news withdrawal for over a week, and is now about to go out there into the online wilderness and get his fix. Wish me luck!

[5 min later] Hmmm…

Seems I haven’t missed much. The old Green Point stadium is still standing (should be torn down any moment now, and a new one, twice as big, thrown up in its place), Carlos Parreira is still the big coach (he’s off to a good start - hasn’t been fired before entering the country), and Danny Jordaan and crew (doughty local organizers) are still flying under the radar. Even the dedicated soccer blogs have been slow. Here are a few to surf to in an idle moment:
