Three Days, Two Nights at the Cape

Over at the BootsnAll South Africa Travel forum, dopezyn needs to know how to navigate through two nights in the greater Cape region.

Here are my two cents, dopezyn:

Your plan seems pretty sound, it’s just a matter of finding places to stay. if you’re looking for a hostel in the Atlantic Seaboard part of town (Green Point, Sea Point, Bantry Bay), I’d suggest trying the Afrique du Sud backpackers on the corner of Main Road and St. Johns (map). It has a good reputation and isn’t too fussy.

The same goes for Stellenbosch’s Stumble Inn, which is more or less in the heart of the winelands. Stellenbosch is a good place to base yourself - but my preference would be to use it as a launching pad for exploring Franschhoek. See SA Logue’s Best of Franschhoek tag for a few tips.

Hope you enjoy your stay!
