Slippery inmate, Ananias Mathe recaptured…for how long?
Ananias Mathe was recaptured this morning after stealing a car fitted with a tracking system.
This is the same fellow that recently escaped from Pretoria’s C-Max high security prison. The first ever to do so, he managed this by covering his naked body with Vaseline and squeezed through a tiny 20cm X 60cm window.
The police started a massive manhunt, but were beaten to the punch by Netstar, the vehicle tracking company. During the capture he was shot in the leg and backside.
Mathe hails from Mozambique and has been dubbed “the perfect criminal” and “Houdini” for his career criminal antics. There are 70 cases linked to this man included robbery and rape.
