A handy, pocket-sized, colorful new gay listings booklet has been released in Cape Town: the 2006 Rainbow Guide.
Published by AroKan, a pink Travel Center, the guide is distributed free in the city’s pink hotspots: look for it in internet cafes and restaurants in places like de Waterkant, plus Main Road in Green Point and Sea Point. It’s also availiable in most city tourist information centers and from all the guide’s advertisers.
The booklet features a general introduction to Cape Town for tourists, useful info like embassy numbers and maps, listings for accommodation, entertainment and food, and community contacts.
