OBZ Fest is back, this year bigger, better and running for 2 days from the 2nd to 3rd Dec. This festival has been running for 12 years and is the 2nd longest running street festival in the country (after the National arts festival in Grahamstown).

This year there are 50 bands, 5 stages, a kid’s area, park and ride and a 2 day street market. Sunday 3rd has been dubbed “Lazy Sunday” comprising of the best South African Urban jazz acts.

Observatory is the most bohemian of Cape Town’s suburbs and buzzes with creative hippyness and illegal tobacco.
