There’s a new resource for visitors to SA seeking to get in a few rounds of golf during their stay here: it’s a thick, heavy, glossy tome called the Nedbank Golf Annual, and in its pages are to be found a register of nearly all the country’s golf courses, plus the usual host of golf articles, golf ads and golfanalia. (OK, I made the last word up. But the mag really is a one-stop golf info shop.)
The corresponding website, at golfersworld.co.za, isn’t of much use to visitors - it’s handicap-oriented - and the magazine is currently only distributed in Nedbank Golf Network clubs, as well as the larger Nedbank bank branches. BUT you can get instant golf info (and probably a free annual, if you ask nicely) by calling the network directly, on +27 (0) 861 646 646.
