Tasting notes
Since I’d recently shared a few cases of Delheim’s splendid 2003 merlot with about 200 others at a book launch, perhaps my expectations were too high for the estate’s vin de table. The vin is thin and a bit sour, best matched with a table that contains formica and red bottle-shaped ring stains. Spend more on a classier Delheim, and you won’t be disappointed.
