Alert! You can have tea with Nelson Mandela. Seriously.
All you need to do is bid for the pleasure on Ebay - and the auction only starts this November, so there are still a few months left to save up.
Why has South Africa’s first democratically-elected president put himself on sale on the eve of his 88th birthday? For the children, of course! As head of the Nelson Mandela Children’s Fund, it’s one of the great statesman’s missions to improve the lot of Africa’s kids. In this case, the Walter Sisulu Paediatric Cardiac Centre, in Sunninghill, Johannesburg, will directly benefit from Mandela’s inclination to take a break with a cuppa, through Ebay’s “Priceless Moments” charity campaign.
Sure beats tea with Mussolini!
