Getting Pissed Drunk in South Africa

I have worked at BootsnAll for 5 years come this November and I have never gone on a Press Trip.

That is about to end in the next few hours as the folks from the Western Cape Tourist Board are setting me up at Spier Winery for 2 days and then Caledon Spa and Casino for a few days so I can review the wine and region in South Africa for BootsnAll.

Grad Student and friend Eileen Off will be joining me as my photographer/assistant.

I will do my BootsnAll best to sample as much as possible these next 5 days and not leave one bottle un-tasted.

Have a great trip Sean, S. Africa has some terrific wine. Being one of the big-bootsies certainly has its perks!

You have arrived, enjoying the hospitality at somebody else’s expense.
What about reviewing some resorts in the Caribbean or Seychelles next.

I am Capetownian. I’ve lived in Toronto for 25 years. I still long for my country of birth. I left when i was 9 years old and returned only once when i was 13. I’ve travelled to many places around the world but nothing compares to the beauty of Capetown. As a child my father showed us the most beautiful, hidden away spots. Politics forced us out of this achingly beautiful country but our hearts always remained there. South Africans understand this ache to go back to their homeland, their beauty….thankyou for your pics. I thoroughly enjoyed them.
