SA Blog Told You So! Election Bluster Shamefulness

Not two weeks ago, SA Blog made bold to say that the official recommendation by a group of puffed-up committee hacks to place an immediate moratorium on the purchase of land by foreigners was mere election bluster, designed to give the ANC a last-minute boost at the polls. SA Blog, it will be remembered, called the committee’s statement barking codswallop.

And with today’s news comes vindication! In response to a question in South Africa’s Parliament today, another hack, this time from the government’s Agriculture & Land Affairs Department, ruled the idea out. To all those who saw something more sinister in the now lame-duck committee’s original blather, SA Blog says - told you so!
