Expats! Feeling desperate for a good ol’ South African braai? Well, there are apparently now enough of you in England’s capital to justify commercial enterprises around your yearnings. Such as the operation these two have set up in Brick Lane (map):

The entrepreneurs didn’t have much business when I visited, though - unlike their Indian and Lebanese competition, whose stalls in a nearby market were swarmed. Perhaps they should amend their sign, which currently advertises a “South African BBQ”. Who ever heard of such a thing?
