Africa Revels in Vicarious Joy!

The team we picked on behalf of Africa, a gloriously rejuvinated France, has ousted perennial favorites and Cup-holders Brazil in a one-goal thriller, and are going through to the World Cup semifinals, where they will meet Portugal and their dangerously clever coach, the always-on-the-money Phil Scolari. (Portugal, thankfully, ousted a wholly inadequate England after penalties in the day’s early match.)
