Africa Gets a Point, But not a Win

Tunisia drew 2-2 with Saudia Arabia in Africa’s last match of the opening raft of World Cup games yesterday. The Eagles of Carthage had a 1-nil lead during most of the game, but then blew it, almost lost, and scraped dramatically back to a semblance of honor with a draw at the (very last) minute.

Africa’s next match is the Group of Death encounter between Ivory Coast and the Netherlands. Let’s hope Drogba & Co. can pull off an upset!
