An excellent place to grab everything before a hike in the famous fruit lands around Elgin, from freshly baked rolls to homemade jams.
Located off the N2, the Orchard is also the perfect spot to meet up with fellow traveling companions. It has quick highway access to/from Cape Town and can also service coach buses.
Items in the restaurant are reasonably priced. An art gallery/wine tasting shop is also on the grounds. Standout purchases are the inexpensive fruit products, such as a citrus marmalade (R15) and sweetened dried fruit (R9).
The Orchard Coffee Shop is open 7:30 a.m-6:00 p.m. during the week, and until 6:30 Friday-Sunday. Credit Cards are accepted.
