They say a picture’s worth a thousand words - and, on most Saturday mornings, the Kalk Bay harbor’s fish cleaning station is worth a thousand fish. You can have your fish - bought fresh off the boat - gutted and de-scaled here for R10. Filleting or slicing is R2 extra - and don’t ask for newspaper, you’ll get dark complaints instead. (If you haven’t brought your own, try your luck begging for one from your fishmonger, or trek to the local Main Road shops and buy one.)
