Ignite opened up in the start of December 2005, replacing the popular socialite’s club Eclipse. It has been expanded and now boasts an extensive, uncovered patio, a chill out room, a dance floor, and two bar areas.
On a recent Saturday night, the crowd was pretty much what you’d expect in Camps Bay - young and beautiful. The music was mostly Top 40, with some old club favorites mixed in.
The venue certainly has enough space, but can get a little tight when it starts to rain or the patio gets too chilly.

Well done to Ignite… — its a wonderful place… cool … and the atmosphere is just right… We were over there in August 2006 and it was just lovely…. Wish we were still there…
