After a gloomy weekend of rain, snow, and - in some areas - power cuts, Capetonians have been treated to the kind of “Green Season” winter day that we live for - and the fine weather looks set to continue for at least another 24 hours.
There’s not a cloud in the sky, all is calm but for a few warm breezes, and the city’s infamous winter haze - a brown cloud that hangs around on certain days, because of wind patterns - has utterly vanished, affording splendid views across the water to the mountains of the winelands.
SA Logue’s camera even captured a hang glider taking advantage of the balmy conditions - I would have loved to have seen the world from his eyes this afternoon!
