Review
In addition to sumptuous cheeses, Foxenburg Estate also produces olives, olive oil, oyster mushrooms and figs. It’s all organic - making Foxenburg the perfect break during a day of wine tasting on the Wellington Wine Route.

Prices are reasonable - R10 for 200 grams of mushrooms and R20 for a nice chunk of goat’s cheese (gouda-style). They have a number of cheeses available. The farm was re-worked a few years ago, so much of the progress has been through trial-and-error. Thankfully, they’ve come across some great hits!

Foxenburg Estate also offers self-catering (R150/person) and B&B (R225/person) overnight stays. Contact Marianne for details.
