Anyone who drives over a penguin, of course, is a complete jackass. Didn’t they read the sign?
The African penguin, though seemingly doing just fine at Boulders, where the numbers are ever on the increase, is actually an endangered species - threatened by man, beast (genets, housecats, etc.) and fowl (kelp gulls, which eat pengin eggs) alike. The last thing the species needs is aggressiveness from Ford, BMW, Toyota & Co.
So mind those penguins when backing out!
