Electricity & Election Wrap

South Africa’s 2006 municipal elections are over, with voting having gone smoothly throughout the country, for the most part. Cape Town’s power outage crisis, however, appears set to carry on, at least until tomorrow morning - and further regional blackouts are forecast for up to six weeks.
