Canal Walk is Cape Town’s largest mall - it boasts an enormous number of shops and restaurants, around 400.
Less hoity-toity than the V&A Waterfront, Canal Walk still houses a number of stores with outrageous prices. There are a few sales, though shoppers shouldn’t expect the killer deals they can find in other countries.
Highlights of the center include the canal (duh) and a skateboard park.
Canal Walk is a 20 minute drive from the city center. Those without a car can catch the Tourist Shuttle from as far away as Sea Point for R35 each way.

There is also a wonderfull discovery centre there for children and playful adults, like the science museum in London, but better.
